We have a series of weekly classes which run at Heart Jewel Centre in Maltock Bath; and at our branch classes in Belper and Chesterfield.

All are suitable for beginners and more experienced practitioners and are organised as short courses, usually around 4 weeks long and last about 1 hour 15 mins around a common theme.

You can attend the whole course or simply drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained

All classes will include an introductory meditation, practical teaching and guided meditation on the subject of the teaching; with practical advice on how to put the teachings into practise in daily life.

Foundation Programme

Want to take your Dharma studies to new depths? The Foundation Programme is the ideal step after attending the drop-in classes. Students undertake a more systematic and thorough study of the subjects covered in Geshe-la’s books.

Classes include prayers, guided meditations, teachings and discussion. Every fourth class is a whole class discussion to further deepen our understanding.

Participants enrol for the study of each book (or section of the book), and undertake to take an exam at the end of the section.

Retreats

Retreats give us an opportunity to consolidate our understanding of Dharma and engage in meaningful practices.

Retreats are normally guided and consist of an introduction and a number of sessions throughout the day meditating or reciting mantras.
