The Course
What we will study
We will spend time learning and practicing some simple meditation techniques that allow us to start to control our mind, making it more peaceful and content.

- Week 2 – Overcoming stress and anxiety
- Week 3 – Finding an inner calm
- Week 4 – Increasing confidence

What to Expect
The classes are organised as short courses, usually around 3 or 4 weeks long and last just over an hour. You can attend the whole course or simply drop in whenever you can as each class is self-contained
You don’t need to bring anything with you and don’t need any previous experience of meditations or the class subjects. We sit on chairs for the class and meditations in a comfortable relaxed atmosphere; so all you need to do is turn up and enjoy.
We start all classes with the Liberating Prayer and a short guided breathing meditation to take ourselves away from the ordinary. You can join in or just listen to the prayer, it’s up to you.
We’ll then have some practical Buddhist teachings followed by a guided meditation based upon them; and finish with some advice on how to put the teachings into practise in daily life
