On this half day course Gen Osung will explain how to develop real inner courage and strength to sustain both ourselves and others through our challenges and difficult situations, through practising ancient Buddhist techniques. 

In his book, The New Eight Steps to Happiness, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso says:

‘We need to transform whatever circumstances we meet, whether good or bad, into the spiritual path by channelling all our actions in a virtuous direction. This practice is extremely important. Those who engage in it successfully will never have to experience anxiety or discouragement but will be able to remain calm and peaceful in all situations.’

Resident Teacher

Gen Osung is the Resident Teacher at Heart Jewel Centre.

She has been studying under the guidance of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso for 25 years and ordained for 15 years. As a mother and a modern Buddhist nun, she is loved for her joyful and inspiring presentation of Buddhas teachings, clearly close to her heart.
