Love Without Pain Sat 10 Feb 10.30 – 12.00 pm £6
Old School Hs. Chapel St. Belper DE56 1AR
Learn how to distinguish real love from painful attachment so that we can develop a more unconditional and peaceful love in our close relationships.

Relationships are a big part of our lives. They can offer fun, love, pleasure, excitement and support. However, they can also be complicated, creating feelings of anguish and pain particularly if they don’t go to plan. The problems in our close relationships arise not from love but from the unrealistic and selfish mind of attachment. Such attachment is the cause of a great deal of pain and conflict. Learn how to distinguish real love from attachment and how we can develop a more unconditional and peaceful love.

Attachment is an unrealistic way of viewing other people, wealth, status etc., based on the desire for our own happiness. Pure love however is unmixed with attachment and stems entirely from a concern for their happiness. It never gives rise to problems but only peace and happiness. At Heart Jewel Centre we teach many methods for recognizing, reducing and finally abandoning attachment in our relationships. By putting these methods into practice we can gradually remove all traces of attachment from our relationships and improve our love until it becomes pure.

Benefits of attending: gain an understanding of the causes of pain and conflict in our relationships; gain an understanding of what makes our relationships strong and harmonious; explore simple methods to boost love in all our relationships; have a positive influence on those around us; create the causes to have a peaceful and meaningful life. Boost mental and physical well-being.

Please book and pay in advance either on-line using Paypal/Card or by cash/cheque (payable to ‘Heart Jewel Buddhist Centre’). If you cancel up to the day before the course is scheduled to begin we will refund all but 25% non-refundable deposit. If cancelled on the day or after the event no refund will be given.
