Our mental health and happiness are essential. In this talk the speaker will outline the leading causes of poor mental health and unhappiness and how we can reverse these problems using the daily practise of meditation and mindfulness. In Buddhism you will find medicine to cure these painful states of mind based on a clear and practical understanding of the mind. By making simple adjustments to our daily life we can start to reverse our normal problems such as worry and anxiety and improve the nature of our experiences. The talk will include an introduction to a following series of weekly classes covering various topics such as Letting go of Worry and Letting go of Regret. Also included will be a simple guided breathing meditation to give you experience of the many benefits of meditation as well as time for questions and discussion.
