Mondays 7.00 pm – 8.00 pm at selected dates

Classes are run by your local teacher, Jessica De Freitas. They will include one guided meditation, practical advice on how to include meditation & mindfulness in daily life and a short Q&A. There is no need to book. As each class is self contained don’t feel it is necessary to attend every class to make it worthwhile starting. Classes are only £5 each. Also we sit in chairs so no need to wear special clothing.

16 October What is Meditation? – Learn the essentials of meditation everyone can practice.
30 October The Power of Meditation – Let us inspire you by explaining the many benefits of daily meditation.
13 November Meditation for Busy People – Practical instructions on how to tame your distracted mind.
27 November A Clear View of Your Mind – Simple meditations for gaining insight into the nature of your mental processes.
4 December Positive Visualization – A meditation for increasing love for others.

Classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced meditators. Everyone is welcome. During the classes the teacher will explain how to meditate on various virtuous objects that will make the mind calm and peaceful; and how to use the insights gained to overcome our daily problems.

Please note the centre is a registered charity and class fees cover only the running costs. Neither the teacher nor assistant receive any payment.
