Everyone wishes to be happy, unfortunately few of us know how to find the real lasting happiness in our hearts we long for. At Heart Jewel Centre we have everything you will need to make it happen. We provide an authentic programme of practical teachings everyone can use to create within themselves a true feeling of happiness free from negativity, worry and problems. We have all heard of meditation and mindfulness. Now is the time to give these scientific methods (collected from over 2500 years of research into the nature of the mind and happiness) a try. Your happiness is the best gift you can give to others. We all wish for a peaceful, loving and compassionate world, free from suffering and conflict. This will only come about by improving human nature. The method to improve our nature is to practice Lamrim meditation. Lets try and make it happen.

Heart Jewel Kadampa Buddhist Centre was established in November 2007 by the fully qualified meditation master, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. It is a registered charity (1124913) aiming to promote meditation and other Buddhist practices in modern society in order to increase happiness and well-being.


Located in the heart of the beautiful Derbyshire Dales, the Centre provides a peaceful and inspiring environment dedicated to inner and outer peace where anyone can visit, relax and learn about meditation and Buddhism. We also run out-reach classes in Matlock, Belper, Wirksworth, Chesterfield and Ashbourne.
